The Department for Youth Policies of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers has published the call for the Universal Civil Service 2022/2023. Applications can be submitted on the dedicated website (link) by 2 pm on January 26, 2022, via Spid.
The Pro Sacile can accommodate 2 operators: before submitting the application, we recommend arranging an introductory meeting at our office.

What is the civil service
The universal civil service is the voluntary choice to dedicate a few months of one's life to the defense service, unarmed and non-violent, of the homeland, to education, to peace among peoples and to the promotion of the founding values of the Italian Republic, through actions for communities and the territory . The universal civil service represents an important opportunity for training and personal and professional growth for young people, which are an indispensable and vital resource for the cultural, social and economic progress of the country.

Who can apply?
They can applyyoung people between 18 and 28 years old, in possession of a high school diploma. The Universal Civil Service is a project of the Department for Youth Policies of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers. The civil service in Pro Sacile
The Pro Sacile Association welcomesup to 2 young people for a 12-month project starting from June / July 2022. Young people are involved inactivities of the Pro Sacile(organization of events, historical archive, management of the antiques market, projects for the enhancement of the territory), but more generally they follow a regional project entitled"Between local and global, discovering the artisan tradition in FVG" which includes training and activity meetings with all the young people who work in the pro loco of Friuli Venezia Giulia.

Commitment and indemnity
The commitment in Pro Sacile is of 25 hours per week. The timetable is flexible, so it is compatible with the attendance of university lessons and with individual study.
Every young person has the right toa monthly allowance of around € 450paid by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.

WORD TO ALESSANDRA!
An intertwining of knowledge and relationships ...
My name is Alessandra, I am 20 years old and I am an economics student.
​
I started carrying out the civil service activity in Pro Sacile in February 2020 because I felt it was important for me to reconnect with my community, having lived away for three years during university.
​
From the first day of civil service I was able to immediately feel part of the community and give my contribution: I immediately worked to prepare the Carnival parade, and then the "Rifioriamo Sacile" horticultural market which marked the restart of Sacile after the first lockdown of spring.
The "Sagra dei Osei" was the most beautiful event I experienced: I remember the months of work very well, with dozens of emails, calls and requests every day, a very busy organization and a lot of passion. I lived my city to the full and had an idea of what awaits me in the world of work. Between one demonstration and the other I ranged between researching the photographic archive, for the publication of a historical book and for training activities with all the young people of the civil service in the region.
​
I recommend the civil service to all those people who want to better discover their own city and be an active part of the community. In a year you can really learn and do many things: if I could, I would still choose to carry out the civil service, and I would do it at Pro Sacile, where, next to the thousands of activities that involved me, I felt welcomed by all the staff, da_cc781905 -5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_
